I came to Paesano’s 1604 over this past Labor Day. I was visiting from Ohio as my husband has been stationed at Fort Sam Houston for army medical training. I had not seen him since March when he graduated basic training. His commander referred us to Paesano’s, telling us how beautiful it was and how wonderful the food was. He couldn’t have been more right. I want to thank you for making my reunion with my husband so memorable. We had the chance to sit outside by the koi pond at night, with the wind blowing in this enchanting setting and had the most delicious meal we’ve had… EVER. Neither one of us could quit commenting on the food, or our waiter, who was an absolute delight. (his name was Tony and deserves a HUGE raise, by the way). You just made our evening so wonderful and magical. We felt so well cared for and appreciated as customers… that’s so rare anymore. I will never forget my experience at Paesano’s for as long as I live. It was the most amazing experience I had in San Antonio… well, aside from seeing his face after half a year!

My family and I are frequent diners at the 1604 location, but this past Friday we had our best ever experience there, thanks for Johnny P and the Wiseguys. I take it that this was their first outing there and they don’t have a regular scheduled gig, but we enjoyed the hell out of them, and stayed for a few extra glasses of wine just to hear them finish their set. Kudos to the band and whoever booked them.

I’ve never had a chance to let anyone know how experience was at Paesano’s. We went this year for “Spring Break” and decided on our last day we would pick an Italian Restaurant and we wanted the best. So we chose it on our own. We don’t live in San Antonio, we live on the out skirts of Sugar Land & Houston. I’m so happy that we made it your restaurant, it was fabulous and everyone there treated us so wonderfully. We are looking forward to going again; my son is in National Guard Training in San Antonio and we will be picking him up for the Christmas holidays. We hope to stop there and have lunch or dinner.

I write to tell you how much my family and I enjoyed our dining experience at your restaurant on December 2. That was the second time we have dined with you, and each was truly enjoyable. Our waiter for our first dinner with you was Tom, and he was great. The food was delicious and the atmosphere, wonderful. We came with my brother-in-law, who had not been back to San Antonio for many years, and we wanted to take him to a restaurant that truly said “welcome.” Paesano’s did that.
We returned because everything was so good and everyone was so helpful. Our dinner reservation was for 6:00pm, but my son was delayed in getting off work, so I called to move it back to 6:30. When my son was still delayed, I called again to ask if I could move it to 7:00pm. Your hostess was so gracious each time and assured me that there would be room for us. When we did arrive, she was more than kind, and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was Erwin, and he, too, was great. My wife and I had the same meals that we had on our first visit because they were so good. Tom even came by to welcome us back, although how he could remember us among all the people he sees every day, I do not know. You and your staff are extremely impressive and set a high standard for welcoming guests and serving magnificent food. Certainly Tom and Erwin are excellent, and we deeply appreciated them. Naturally, I also praise your kitchen staff. The food was outstanding. My family and I look forward very much to our next visit.
